Health and Safety
Red Electrical is strong in ensuring the Team is well educated in health and safety policy and procedure to enable safety in their workplace whether in your home or your business premises. A Commitment Policy, which was developed in consultation with employees is in place, the policy is reviewed annually, is communicated to all employees and is made available to the public.
All employees hold a Site Safety Card and have a manual outlining the procedure required should an incident happen, with the appropriate reporting forms. With a focus on ongoing education, Toolbox Talks are held and all employees are encouraged to bring forth any ideas they may have to better their workplace safety environment. RED Electrical is committed to the continuous development of its Health and Safety programme to ensure it meets all requirements under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
Red Electrical is committed to minimising the environmental impact of its activities and promoting sustainable development by meeting legislative requirements; plus using best practice to prevent any form of pollution by ensuring through business activity there is waste minimisation, energy conservation and recycling of materials.
To protect their interests Red Electrical works with communities and Iwi. This policy is communicated to all employees through training to promote personal responsibility and is reviewed periodically.
RED Electrical has contracts in both the early childhood education sector and primary schools. The Company is committed to complying with requests from contractors (who provide care to children and vulnerable members of society) for its employees to be vetted by the New Zealand Police. Prior to working in an approved agency our electricians are required to be police vetted and are aware of this when they commence employment.
